Experience
I worked as an English language assistant at three elementary schools in Briançon, France, where I came up with lesson plans and materials for teaching English as a second language. I tutored one of my students (4th grade) in English once a week while living in Briançon. While at Santa Clara University, I worked as a teaching assistant in Cognitive Psychology, where I provided support and guidance on research papers, as well as Advanced French, where I created study guides and held review sessions with upper-level French students. The Advanced French course consisted of poetry and literary analysis, covering work by Rimbaud and Verlaine, to Jean-Paul Sartre's "Huis Clos" and Albert Camus's iconic "L'Etranger." I also served as a teaching assistant in the Advanced French Conversation course, where I assisted the professor in interactive oral activities in the classroom and edited students' scripts and interview questions for their various assignments.
